Inspired by… Le Langage Des Fleurs

One of the first floriography dictionaries written by Charlotte De Latour (widely considered to be a pseudonym for Louise Cortambert) first published 1819, thought to be used to communicate hidden messages of love.

Diptyque has gone back centuries to find forgotten meanings for twelve flowers in their collection. My favourite - Gardenia ‘A tropical flower, the gardenia naturally thrives in the wild in Africa, Asia and China. All of its names and homelands invite you to travel, just close your eyes and let it take you far, far away.’

Scents inspired by different places in the world by Astier de Villatte.
